Having founded Cowboy Funfair Productions in 2010, Sparky Tehnsuko has directed numerous videos for local companies, screened his shorts Peace Week and And to All a Good Night at Cannes, and worked as an Assistant Director for several years throughout the film and TV industry. His latest film, They Call Me The Kid, has won multiple awards on the festival circuit.
A co-founder of Cowboy Funfair Productions, Sej has produced brand promos, music videos and short films for a wealth of audiences as well as award-winning feature film Monk3ys in 2011. She also works throughout the production sector on larger industry films such as Pride and Wonder Woman.
CFP's latest dramatic short – They Call Me The Kid, directed by Sparky Tehnsuko and produced by Sej Davé – has so far been awarded at each and every festival that has selected the film to screen in competition. Written by Alan Power, shot by Andreas Neo and starring Stacha Hicks, David Cullinane and newcomer Luke Lowry, the film has surpassed expectations and is showing incredible promise for its future. It will screen as part of the Courts Mètrage at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
