On the eve of his thirteenth birthday, James (Luke Lowry) and his mother (Stacha Hicks) visit a fairground to relish in childish fun, with James’s imaginary cowboy friend (David Cullinane) along for the ride. But, as the day progresses and some home truths come to light, James’s childhood begins to fall away from him.
